Welcome to the Office of Research Integrity

The Office of Research Integrity (ORI) promotes integrity in biomedical and behavioral research supported by the U.S. Public Health Service (PHS) at about 4,000 institutions worldwide. ORI monitors institutional investigations of research misconduct and facilitates the responsible conduct of research (RCR) through educational, preventive, and regulatory activities.

ORI is organized under the following departments:
1. U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

2. Office of the Secretary of Health and Human Services (OS)
3. Office of Public Health and Science (OPHS)

Teaching Survival Skills and Research Ethics Workshop

The 13th Annual Workshop on Teaching Survival Skills and Research Ethics will be held at The Silvertree Hotel, Snowmass, Colorado from June 10-15, 2007.  This six-day workshop will enable faculty and administrators to implement or improve instruction in professional development and/or research ethics at their institution.  The workshop is co-sponsored by the University of Pittsburgh, NIH, and ORI.  Read More
